Dean did an appraisal on our house in 2021 and appraised for list value. At that all homes were appraising for 15-20K above list as market was trending that way due to lack of inventory. He stated market was stable, when it was not it was increasing. Then proceeded to include a narrative about how the market shouldn’t be trending this way. That market trends should be stable and this increase was unnatural. He clouded his appraisal with his personal beliefs and cost us 25K. Both realtors were floored by the low appraisal. He did not give a fair appraisal based on market conditions.
